There is a saying 'keep it simple stupid', so it's very simple we only offer the minimum of one hour visits, you can have as many hours as you like over the week or one day. Our hours operate during the day 8 - 6 as research has shown people are more active during these hours, although we can be flexible within reason during the evening for that special occasion.
What is not simple, that's the team. They are highly regarded and we all share the same vision and that is focusing on early intervention to prevent you or your loved one feeling lonely, becoming ill as this happens. We wish to prevent you or your loved ones becoming distressed or lonely with the possibility of being rehomed or in need of 24 hour care.
We hold assessments within your home, my favourite drink is Tea, milky with two sugars please !. We have one set hourly fee, we are competitive and cost no more than other care providers. 'Yes' there is the dreaded paper work if you should wish to use homefromhomecaredorset 'we keep it simple'.
Finances and payments We charge from £25.00 per hourly per visit, this is pending on travel distances Over night stays / Sleep ins 22.30 - 07.30 (£150 per night) Times & days may vary subject to availability
Local Authority payments
If the Local Authority agrees to contribute towards your support & care at home, you may not need to get involved with the bills because we will deal directly with the relevant body on your behalf. You may have to top up your cost towards payment for our service - This may sound confusing and complicated but rest assured it's simple.
The main methods of funding are: Attendance allowance or Self funding
Paying us: We will offer payment options and we will send your invoices via Text, email, or on paper format weekly. You or your loved one may pay by Direct debit, Standing order, Cash or Cheque
Now for what we call the small print!. Charges do not include some specific journeys that exceed over 10 minutes travel time, charges will be applied
